    Very beneficial.

Looks like widgeon grass or southern naiad if freshwater
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

Was kicking around putting saigo or celery in there this spring to get some more food. Rush and cat tails on edges, two years ago got dry on edges and had a good crop of rice to grow by hand rake and hand plant/spread.

Sago would be a good option. Similar to that naiad and likely to thrive given the naiad is already there.

Celery needs a good Sandy bottom and a little bit of current.
