PETA is at it again

Last night the news ran a story about how PETA had demanded that the Monks at Mepkin Abbey stop the abuse of the chickens that they raise for eggs to sell in the low country. They say they have pictures of the birds being starved and left to die and that they say show the abuse. For some reason I just can't believe the Monks are out to abuse chickens. If they are inspecting chicken houses in Moncks Corner at the monestary who will be next?
