Whew … between this and Operation Rolling Thunder I finally feel safe enough to cross the state lines again.

I hope Pendarvis gets paid enough to buy the land next door to the sled dood’s house and proceeds to grow hemp there until recreational legalization allows him to grow the dank there.

He leases my row crop fields. It was definitely a bullshit arrest.

Sled should stick with arresting underage college kids. They are Clowns. What rational group of people would waste that much time and money to get rid of a plant that you would have to smoke pounds of to get you high. Even if it got you high who the hell cares. I ran into sled agents all the time when I was a kid in college. I have see grown men run down groups of girls to arrest them for drinking and then act like they just brought down some Mexican drug cartel.

Keel has had a personal vendetta against anything hemp related for a long time now. My guess is there is someone that lives close by or has land close by with deep pockets and high up connections that did not like seeing that field or knowing it was there. And keel took that opportunity to attempt to make an example of this fella.

The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

He should get paid handsomely and deserves every penny. If you have the time, give that video a watch, it was done well.

I need to watch the entire video.

So he had permission to plant the hemp, but not at those exact coordinates, and was in “violation” so he was arrested and his crop was destroyed?

Try planting tobacco on an unapproved field.

Pendarvis fucked up, but it didn't justify hauling his ass to jail (see AG and Dorchester County judge's opinion on the matter).

He'll get paid in civil court. SLED fucked up the criminal part so that'll never stick.

My thoughts too. I mean he knew before he planted that field that it was not the approved field but planted it anyway AND THEN tried to get the field approved. Not that I’m saying they were right by destroying it and arresting him but some blame does seem to be on his part.

I haven’t read the suit but it appears some of the theory is negligence in state court against state entitles. He will arguably be limited to 300k in damages for that claim. Hooray tort reform.

I just listened to the entire clip.

This tune was playing in the background in my head...
