    They do.

Also mine didn't like flounder trolling all day, it needed to run.

As long as there are jon boats roaming the lakes and rivers of the south, there will be a strong market for everything from 25-50hp. That's your 14-15' Jon boat crowd and they're a dime a dozen.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

By market I meant 3-5 years ago when people were paying stupid prices for them.

You are correct except for the dozen or so that are running tiller Mercury 115 Pro XS on 16 aluminum boats. I swear I thought I was being punked last summer when six boats with those motors showed up at the Shriners poker run.

Don't count out the 15-17ft boats with 115 yamaha sho's. Don't see as many of them as you do the Pro xs's but they're out there.

If I was going to have a 115, id have a v4 yamaha 2 stroke.

I put my 1503 in the trees up in Pireway once with my stock 60. I forgot the lesson to not let up in the curve. I am glad I dont feel the need to do that shit anymore.

I saw one a while back on internet looked in good shape $1250. If you dont run them without oil and the foot don't freeze and bust, they will run forever. Put a plug in them every spring and go fishing.

Daddy had a 10 HP i could load in the trunk of momma's car. They used to rent boats at Seven Oaks Marina so me and a buddy would skip school and go fishing on lake Wylie once or twice a week.

I have a 40 2 stroke yamaha on a sixteen footer. I feel like it's enough... but I wear my hat with the brim in the front.

I never felt so old in my life standing there (thinking but not saying "why") while they were swapping props out between the boats to squeeze the last bit of performance out. They went on among each other talking about their mods. Mods?!?! On a 115 Pro XS on a 16 Edge/Reaper/Excel/Xpress/etc? Damn, just damn. And to think I scared myself a few times with my old (bone stock) 3 cylinder 30 Yamaha. MG
