    Default Electro polishing

Anyone here familiar with it. Have some stainless parts that have some potting and corrosion. Looking to get it cleaned up. Is this a good option and how does it stand up to saltwater, corrosion, scratching after?

No this is a process that strips away the upper level and essentially gives you a new clean surface. Read a little bit about it. Trying to find someone that has personal experience with it.

Im not familiar with electro-polishing but know a little about passivating. We passivate a fair amount of Stainless in our shop. Passivating won't give you the shiny look I assume you're after but it will resist further corrosion and remove imperfections.
