    Default Used Boat Registration

What’s the process now? Do I have to go to the tax office 1st?

if it's your boat and you just need to renew, then pay tax online and print receipt and take to DNR
If you just bought it, then you will need a tax bill created at the tax office counter and then will pay it
    and take receipt to DNR

Pay the tax man and take the signed titles with the tax receipt and the application to the farmers market.

If the boat is from out of state AND has never been registered in SC, then you skip the tax office and go directly to DNR. MG

I could be wrong but I dont think it matters as
it's the seller's signature being notarized

I haven’t notarized out of state outboard purchases and that was never a problem
