    If someone mentions Lizard's Thicket in this thread they are weird or trying to be funny. Its a minature Cracker Barrel.

    some of yall get pretty emotional about food and its origins. it all meets the same fate at the end of the day. (sometimes the beginning of the day)

    but yea, LT was pretty decent not that many years ago. I have not been in one for 3-4 years.

    we found ourselves in west cola Zestos late yesterday evening. I forgot how good their fried chicken and slaw is.

    that flying biscuit place on harden is pretty decent

    Doc's. There used to be a meat in three in Pendleton in the 90's that would be worth the drive if they are still open. Line around the freaking block from 10 minutes before opening till 30 minutes before closing. Peach cobbler second only to the blackberry cobbler at the Esso club. I miss that place. But in Cola...Docs all day every day.

    Rays on two notch, George’s Southside in Cayce, and yes, Doc’s is still open…on Shop Rd across from the dmv.
