    I used to have a Winchester Model 23 20/28 gauge two barrel set and it was outstanding. Great quail gun(s), but probably wouldn't be a good clays gun.

    If you can find one, it's worth just checking it out. I sold my set about 10 years ago for $5700, fwiw... and wish I still had it.

    Hmm, interesting. That has not been my experience, but then again I didn't purchase it expecting it to perform like a $3k SxS either.

    I've got a 12 gauge BSS Hunter - It's rugged and tough but has the handling qualities of a pressure-treated 2x4. My 20 gauge BSS is a Sporter and it's the best handling gun I've ever shot.
