Default It's Not Over for Mr. Rittenhouse

Looks like a judge will allow a suit from one of the deceased's father to proceed:

Sue him back for the emotional and financial damage his son did by attacking Rittenhouse in the first place.

Exactly. A good defense is a better offense.

But more to the point, it seems I recall that some jurisdictions specifically do not allow civil suit against someone that is found not guilty of the lawful use of a firearm in a self defense situation.

The family should no doubt receive free matching Tshirts at mr Rittenhouse's expense.

It was destroyed by the court or LEO. It would have become a collectors item and made him a WHOLE BUNCH of money.

He may not have any money now but when the media suits hit, he will be rolling in it. I guess the perp’s family is getting in line early for their piece of the pie.

I thought he had already won a big settlement. I know the MAGA hat kid won a bunch of millions. I thought Rittenhouse did as well. If not, I hope he does.

Collusion with the police seems like a tough one to prove on court, it is a civil case though.
