Yup. Had a parent telling me about their kids ADHD at baseball practice one day. I said, "I had that too but momma & my teachers beat it out of me". She was not amused but it was the truth.

Yep, by the time dad’s cleared the last loop of those Dickies it had broken the sound barrier. The look in his eyes was enough to know pain was coming quickly.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

but what about that pay cut and gubmint insurance, and retirement she lost? you know the $ being received by the wives of limited govt conservatives bitching about the size and overreach of govt and all the people living off of it. Good for your Mom by the way. You should be proud.

The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is,
as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.

My grandmother was a substitute at the high school I attended.
For reference, Cone Carpenter was the undertaker at the local funeral home....everyone knew who he was in our small town.

One day, when the first bell rang, she told the class she had that day to take their seats and get ready for class. One of the girls looked her straight in the eyes and said I don't have to listen to you, you old bull dog faced bitch! They said Mawmaw leaned back in her seat and said "you know Jeretta you're right, you don't have to listen to me. But if you ever talk to me like that again, Cone Carpenter will be wiping your ass the next morning."

She meant every word of it too. Damn I miss my Mawmaw!

can anyone tell me what adhd is? maybe someone's kid who is "diagnosed" with it?

I'm pretty sure its just a mom's excuse for bad behavior.
and yes i'm a cynic. I could tell you my story but you wont care.
if your kid has adhd, change doctors.
and continue to hate me. I'm ok with it.
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.

If I was that little bitch's teacher, the title to this thread would be, "Time to go get that grill fixed." and I'd be in jail.

    It’s way over-diagnosed, but it’s definitely real.

That girl in the video ain’t got ADHD, she’s got B-A-D.

It is not doctors alone. Teachers are big advocates of getting kids diagnosed as well. My oldest son’s first grade teacher tried after about two weeks of school. They like kids, medicated and quiet in the corner. The public school system is designed for girls who sit quietly.
