Addiction is real. Im sorry your friend died. People like that dont want to do the drug/drink/whatever. Its way past the point of enjoyment and is a completely different world from doing a few key bumps with some friends. Good on you for being there for them and being supportive.

I got the same explanation a few weeks ago from. DHEC Pharmacy Officer, completely opposite thinking to me....

It happens every single day in Spartanburg and Greenville. I guess they just put this instance in the news because it was (5) a one time.

I watched a drug docuseries on Netflix a while back. The dealer actually admitted to bumping up the Fent until it killed someone then back if off just a little. Basically running the ragged edge. He said they would flock to him after that.

    Yup, he's crazy...

Coroner released the names and said all died of carbon monoxide poisoning. A generator was apparently being used inside the home.

I cant count on two hands the number of people that I called friends in High School who are now under the dirt because of a needle/overdose. I've gotten kind of thick skinned about it. I hate it but at the same time, I cant fix it and am tired of hearing about it. You cant help people who cant help themselves. It took me a long time to figure that out. I invested a lot of time and energy into folks who had no desire to make themselves better. Wish I could have it back.
