Put a golf ball on top of that DP and you will stop the mice for the most part

Makes it easier to see if the trap has been messed with from a distance also.

Pulled my last traps this morning. Total for the season was 42 possums, 26 coons, 2 coyotes, 1 bobcat, 1 grey fox, 1 cur dog and 1 7 or 8 week old rottweiler puppy in a box trap. Dog and puppy were both released unharmed.

This was my first time using leghold traps so it was mostly a learning experience. Had a bunch of fun and got to spend a lot of time with my grandson running traps on the weekend.

Already ordered more traps for next year. I swear this stuff is addicting

Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right

I added a couple more coons last week.

I did not realize you could call coons...I see a lucky duck call, a .17, and a pile of fun in my near future. Looking around at the terrain out here, I would have never thought that this place is overrun with coons, but they are freaking THICK out here.
