Same…. Got fresh sign and set traps on the trails they are using. No yote since last week.

    Add another.

I was down behind the house working at the creek pavilion hanging Pinterest lights and had sent the kids to check traps with their BB guns. I hadn’t seen or heard from them in almost an hour since I sent em to check traps. Elizabeth comes up. “Dad. We got a coon and have been shooting it but it won’t die.”

Oh muh lord. “Stop. I’ll get a gun and come down there. “

Sterling “we tried shooting it in the eyes to get to the brain but it didn’t work”

They had been point blanking that poor critter with two Red Ryders for almost an hour!

    Yup, he's crazy...

like a fox. The dude may be coming in a little too hard and crazy but 90% of everything he says is correct.

Sort of like Toof. But way smarter.

That’s awesome. My wife has gotten into the trapping. She likes getting out checking them and finding new spots.
I’m upwards now of 16 or 17 coons and possums and 2 coyotes. It’s been my first season and have learned a lot.

Haven’t learned the trapping yet, but we’ve been figuring out the thermal game lately.
