I just committed to a DD pup. I get pick of the litter. No black ones all liver in this bunch but two jam up parents. He will come home the last week of January.

Daughter wants to name him Waylon. I am leaning towards Pal for Paladin. She will probably win.

My job keeps me in hotels for most of the summer, so Doc headed to Maine with Rhett. He came back far better than he left, and he left pretty darn good. He has had one hell of a dove season.

Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right

They don't put Championship rings on smooth hands

My next male will be named Sancho all thanks to the Koe Wetzel song. Glad to see you are getting back into one.

“… duckhunting stands alone as an outdoor discipline. It has a tang and spirit shared by no other sport—a philosophy compounded of sleet, the winnow of unseen wings, and the reeks of marsh mud and wet wool. Fine looking hound. Those summer trips can be game changers.

I'm glad to see the golden's making a comeback in the hunting world. I couldn't imagine keeping up with that coat though.

I am seriously considering getting a slick coat DD because of the beggers lice. I couldnt imagine having to clean up a goldens coat with cockleburrs and beggers lice.

Yeah it sucks sometimes. Wide toothed comb and an electric clipper work great. They just got their mudflaps, underbelly, and tail chopped, once you do that it's not too bad.
