Pepper. She's about 1.5yo now and has an excited whine in the blind (American labs smh) but loves the birds.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

    How old are your females?
“Duck hunting gives a man a chance to see the loneliest places …blinds washed by a rolling surf, blue and gold autumn marshes, …a rice field in the rain, flooded pin-oak forests or any remote river delta. In duck hunting the scene is as important as the shooting.” ~ Erwin Bauer, The Duck Hunter’s Bible, 1965

This is Cane. He is 8 now and much more spoiled than he used to be. He no longer rides in the kennel and gets whatever he wants. He still has the drive and is incredibly vocal in the field to a fault. I’m worried he’s going to be THAT dog, I can’t imagine an ever having a better one.

Don’t have a dog at this time. Have a bunch of pics of my two old dogs that are now gone. Most of y’all have seen those. Maybe about time to get a new one started

Cora the front one is 3, Tilly is about 18 months.

Cora came from Wilbur Dellinger in Gainesville. Got Tilly from Kim Ward at Broomstraw via a breeder in Wyoming. Cora’s a bit standoffish, Tilly has a personality that is incredible.

Here is Hank my new one this year. Been doing pretty solid for a puppy.

This is Mojo. He was the dog that surpassed all my expectations or dreams and was way better than any training I did. Leukemia and lymphoma got him at 7. This was one of his last hunts

She wasn’t a hunting dog but was the best companion a man could ask for. I picked her out of a liter of free lab pups when I was 17 and cancer finally over took her and she had to be put down 2 weeks ago today. She would have been 11 next week. Rest easy old girl.
