COLUMBIA — South Carolina football picked up a big commitment Sunday from top-priority 2024 target Kam Pringle
Pringle, chose the Gamecocks from among 21 offers including a top six of Clemson, Georgia, Florida, NC State and Tennessee. He is the No. 1 offensive tackle in the Class of 2024 according to the 247Sports

"South Carolina already has their 2024 quarterback in Dante Reno and now the Gamecocks know who will be protecting his blindside. Rivals250 offensive tackle Kam Pringle has announced his commitment to South Carolina and head coach Shane Beamer.
"Dante (Reno) texts me everyday," he said. "It's been like that since the first day I met him. He was even hitting me up before we met. He's just as good as one of the coaches.
"I can promise you that I'll get Josiah Thompson, Blake Franks, and Mazeo Bennett to commit," Pringle said. "That's just the start. I'm also going to try to get Eddy Pierre-Louis from Florida. I'm going to try to flip Tavoy Feagin from Clemson too."

and has been the largest missing piece. Sure, you can beat the ACC Champs with what Beamer inherited
but to compete in the SEC, the line of scrimmage is the key.

The Gamecocks also secured commitments from Western Illinois tackle Sidney Fugar and Yale lineman Nick Gargiulo during this year’s first transfer portal window that closed on Wednesday. Those last two transfers from smaller schools are grown and have lots of playing experience
