That should sell well in states that allow straight wall cartridges during muzzleloader seasons.
I’m interested as well. I have been wanting to acquire a lever gun for some close range deer hunting. Mainly just always wanted a lever gun. Also saw where bond arms came out with a lever action lower for an ar15.
Someone needs to revive the 38-55
Straight walled 35 Remington. Almost identical ballistics.
Some states that allow only straight wall cartridges also have an OAL restriction. Somewhere around 2". This eliminates the .45-70 and I assume some of the other rounds mentioned. I think this cartridge came to be simply because of that restriction, so it may be legal in ALL states.
Also, if you've happened to shop around for a lever gun lately, they're getting quite pricey. It's a current fad. This gives Henry another entry into the market.
Remington hasn't gotten anything right in 25 years
I’m sure that Winchester’s success with the 350 legend had some influence on Remington/Federal introducing this round.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.
