They are finally getting it right with the 1st Preseason ranking.

I see you didn’t include (not named S Carolina) next to the SEC teams. Guess there is no need to state the obvious.

I hope Jawja is one of the 3 SEC teams, it was obvious they struggled against Clemson’s Prince Charming new coach. Y’all arguing over a mediocre rival record, while the dawgs are in contention for 3 in a row and it’s not against teams of y’all’s caliber, it’s against teams which can win all their games.

Real question: which program is currently in the better position?

    Clemson.

You could argue that Carolina is trending better, but at the end of the day, Clemson will always have a easier path to championship potential.

People that know football realize DJ would have scored more than 14 points against Tennessee. That flew over the heads of the Kool aid drinkers while they were having their short lived 30 day "Welcome back Dynasty" celebration.

Those that don’t pull for Clemson are enjoying the TN loss, as they should. Those same people enjoyed the WV Orange Bowl outcome, as they should have. In hindsight, Clemson beating WV, keeping Kevin Steele, and not having Brent Venables for 10 years would’ve been better in the long run for those that don’t care for Clemson success. Just a hunch, but those same folks might look back and find it may have been better for their interests had Clemson beaten TN and retained Streeter. Clemson needed a fresh set of eyes and a proven QB coach.

No he wouldn’t have because the playbook would have been so vanilla with his dumb ass, no talent, inaccurate arm wouldn’t have had 1/2 the yards, 5X more 3 and outs with Shipley and Mafah receiving less carries than they had.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Yeah I’m sure the guy with concrete feet and slow decision making would have done better behind the o line that was a revolving door.
