    I've seen it first hand, and it took 30 seconds to find it with it traveling 1/2 mile.

    Interesting application. I’m afraid it may help diminish some level of woodsmanship and the art of recovery. I guess sometimes deer so crazy things and you can’t find them.

    …why stop at recovery, find the deer before you even leave for the stand!

    You owe it to the deer to get him dead.

    If a drone helps you do so without trespassing, even better.

    The trackers with dogs are going to get themselves in a heap of trouble in the name of finding wounded deer. Drones, from what I can tell, operate in a bit of a grey area for the time being.

    He had one on there, where the hunter was pretty certain he made a good shot. They found the deer, but he was in a corn field eating. The hunter ended up killing it some time later and the guy with the drone helped him recover it.
