Default Suggestions for grandsons 1st compound bow

Grandson has been shooting a Walmart bow in yard since Thanksgiving. Looking to purchase him something better and that will he can grow with. He is a big 10 year old and growing like a weed. Bow will be used for target practice mainly and down the road, would like to be able to take hunting if he stays the course. Any suggestions?

Mission Hammer, lots of adjustment that he can growth with as he gets older.

My son shoots a Bear. I’ll get the specifics on it but it’s also very adjustable in terms of draw length and pull.

I have an older Bear Bow hung up in the garage, pin sight, stabilizer, a release, and some arrows collecting dust. If your grandson, or another kid, can use it they are welcome to it.

It is a larger bow so may not be great for a younger/smaller kid.

That is a very kind offer. He has my older Bowtech but he needs a few more years for that. Looking for something to bridge that gap for him

Buy a Mission like BugBuster said. It can grow with him and he’ll be stacking deer up in no time.

Remington 700. Not the most quiet bow but he'll kill a bunch of stuff.

This what my son got when he was 10. He’s been shooting it for a couple of years now. He hasn’t shot at a deer yet but he probably could.
