    Default Gun Buyback in Irmo

    https://www.townofirmosc.com/news_detail_T5_R17.php

I've got an old muzzle loader that a guy at work gave me that doesn't have the bolt. It's worthless.

    Until now.

What should I use my $125 to buy on the way home this Saturday?

So criminals can sell junk stolen guns? "The IPD will not run any vehicle tags or collect any personal information from anyone who sells a firearm."

Accepts no walk ups, meaning they are preventing people from intercepting the guns before they can buy them.

This may be the solution to an issue a guy I know has. He "inherited" an old junk shotgun from a family member that had passed away. The barrel of the shotgun had been cut down to a length making it illegal. Could he donate said shotgun to the gun buy back program and make a little coin off of it without getting into any trouble. As far as I know he has no sentimental ties to the gun, and frankly just wants to get it out of his possession.

Then, I'll have to go by PSA. And you told me they were a bunch of dicks.

    I've got a gun I couldn't sell. And I was asking $125 for it. It's a Christmas miracle.

Set up across the street and offer $150 for guns and pick and choose which guns you want. You would be surprised by what get turned in.

So what happens to these guns once they take possession of them?

I don't know how they get around the the law against accepting stolen goods. They are creating a market for stolen guns.

They are the gov't. The rules don't apply to them.

Probably get charged with buying stolen property or no FFL, no business license, creating a nuisance. Sure the cops would harass you.

Here he illustrates how little separates the extreme left and extreme right. The political spectrum isn't a line but a circle. He nailed it.
