Look at the radiant tube heaters. They are really efficient compared to forced air heaters

Im not sure we need to skip over the fact that you had a suggestion to round up a bunch of Mormons and let em fuck in your barn to heat it

Propane/NG seems like an easier option but i've heard nothing but positive about diesel heaters. I'm about to have one on a job site to heat a 30k sf hotel for the next couple months, i'll let you know how it does

I use this style with my chickens.

Pulled an old one down and put it in my shop. It will run you out of there.
