First off its not just a screen pass in the dirt. Its also an out route that #5 misses by 5 feet. That is why he is #5, so he knows how far to throw the ball away from the receivers.

Dont forget the play calls change when Clemson gets up to all pass plays to make sure the offense doesn't stay on the field.
