Default Yamaha 25 2 Stroke Impeller Question

My motor is 600 miles away and I don’t want to wade through google.

I want to replace the impeller, preventative maintenance. I THINK it’s a 2002 but can’t remember for certain. Are all the 2 stroke 25 Yamaha impellers pretty much universal from the mid 90’s - 2000’s, or are the specific to the year?

Looked back at my pm’s, forgot I bought it from here. It’s a 2004. Should be good to go now.

Might need him sooner or later. My boat guy quit and went to straight farming. Still have someone for ATV/UTV but don’t know if they mess with outboards.

I’ll take my Polaris straight to the dealer in Stuttgart. My partners carry their Polaris to a dealer in Little Rock.

I’ve used Prairie Implement plenty of times, they’re really proud of their work though.

Yes they, but for me it’s always been a quick turn around. Time is important to me.

    However they are no A2Z…

The impellers are all probably close to being the same. The water pump housing and gaskets may be different though. I use boats.net and it’s easy to find the parts to order. I recommend getting the entire kit because Ive never taken one apart and didn’t tear a gasket. Also, the key way is easy to lose and nice to have a new/spare. I’d try to find the title or any paperwork you may have at home to make sure the year is correct when you order. I just looked and all 2002 25 HP model numbers all use the linked water pump repair kit here…https://www.boats.net/product/yamaha...d7bc0fd04de706
