    Default Coyote trappers near Sumter

I've watched a ton of ytube videos and read everything I can find to get ready for my first season trying to trap coyotes but would greatly appreciate any on hands learning I could get. If there's anybody on here within an hour or so of Sumter that would let me tag along to observe I would buy lunch.

    Thank you

You just missed the sc trapper association workshop in Little Mountain. I’m very much a just for fun amateur. Try to catch up with and pick Ricky’s (ccleroy) brain. He’s got it going on. I also learned a lot by watching Hoosier Trappers on YouTube. They have a ton of how to videos. A little monotone but those guys can trap.

I'm signed up for that. You going to be there?

No sir. When I was just learning I did the SC trappers thing in little mountain. Seeing demos first hand and hearing someone explain what they are doing made it easier for me.

Management advantage is a good resource. Start with a few piss post and dirt holes. As long as you anchor the trap well, you shouldn't have a major problem. It may take a while to catch but that's part of the game.
