I've run a small green mountain for years now and I love it. I'm thinking about going to the pit boss vertical smoker.

I would NOT trade you even. Mine makes wonderful meats/sausage/jerky and other favorites. Will smoke with most any wood. Has great drip-baste pan Set time/temperature and forget......Friend has pel-gril. Doesn't smoke meat worth a crap.

Bought it at Lowes 3 yrs back I think.

Had used Masterbuilt for years Not knocking Masterbuilt since it served me well but the PB Vertical is lot better. Get better smoke flavor w pellets

Bought vertical same reason as you want one, i do some summer sausages every year with deer burger from prior year. Like ability to hang it
