New SSK 357 max

Just got my new 10 inch SSK Contender barrel and was really surprised at its accuracy and low price with free shipping. I had to load it with 360 Dan Wesson brass because it was all I had but did load it to 357 max overall length using hard 200gr cast gas check and 18gr of H110 @1550 fps. Shot it at 100 yards and will try some XTP next.

I just sold a 357 Max barrel, brass and bullets to a buddy. It was a deer slayer. Put in a carbine barrel and it’s even more so.

That’s nice. Most peop,e can’t shoot their rifles that good.

The surprising part was that I was getting about 120 fps more on the chronograph then what the loading book said.
I got Starline brass and some 158gr xtp waiting at home for me.
