    Default Thank You Law Enforcement

Earlier this week, a duck hunter was caught on property trespassing to shoot ducks. Upon a quick call, a phenomenal DNR officer was there immediately. We are extremely appreciative to one of Georgetown County’s finest for their quick action and diligent enforcement of the law to protect all duck hunters and the resources provided. We hope this is an isolated situation but also are vigilant that this will not be a repetitive problem.

Good luck. We prosecuted the same guy 3 times and he got away with it many more times than that. The 3rd time, the Judge told him to "bring his toothbrush" to court next time because he would not be going home. A week later, I just missed his ass...

Trespassing to hunt should be its own crime IMHO.

I was always told to call the Sheriff Dept on trespassers, that you’re likely to get more done.

There was an incident in Florida that I heard of. The property owner new a little about the law. He called the police got them for trespassing with firearms which I believe was a felony. The guys that were caught worked for the state lost their jobs pensions and also went to jail. If they would of gone with dnr or would of been a wildlife violation a ticket and probably would not of lost their license.
I don't belive in miracles, I rely on them.
