Bullsprig and I are headed to the davidson in a couple of weeks. I've never fished it and I was wondering if anybody has recently and what was working.

#18 zug bug trailing any other fly in your box.
(dont tell knee deep that i am giving away this info)
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.
Focker.........that is not a secret, however the secret would be stealth, the davidson is crystal clear after a flood, the fish are sought after and they know it.....they are very spooky. I mean a long caster has a tought time getting to them before they wise up.....I would stick with #18 & #20 Flashback pheasant tails as the lead fly, some type of emerger behind it, stay deep. Don't even waste your time with dries, maybe a terrestrial early morn......
tight lines to ya
dog food pattern:
piece of cork though a caddis or egg hook.
My lab, duck hunting, elk hunting, fly fishing, quail hunting, big mountain skiing, running rivers, bluegrass, Maker\'s Mark, Budweiser, blondes, brunettes, and redheads- order of importance subject to time of year.

Tell me where you shoot ducks so i can come shoot um
The zug bug is always a good choice but use the tung. head instead of the regular bead head if you like it weighted and the travis para ant works great and its easy to see with the orange parachute
