    Default Pole barn heater

I'm building a pole barn that will be a kennel. I'm going to need to heat a 40x60 area with 12 ft ceilings. What would be the most safe economical way to heat this area?

Ya' might need to join a Mormon cult, or become a Muslim to have multiple 'pokees' for the heat required.

Definitely a wall mount gas heater of some sort. If natural gas is available id go that route. If not then have a propane tank installed and go that route

Got a Amish buddy with a similar setup. He uses a freestanding wood stove, but he has plenty of wood splitters.

Chicken and turkey farmers figured it out a long time ago, I think you can too.

Your brother-n-law ought to be hooking him up,

He’s got enough firewood to burn up all of Edgefield county

True. He stopped talking cords and such, now he talks tractor trailer loads. I suspect he’s got 4-5 “loads” on the ground and still splitting 7 days a week.

Y'all just reminded me of something I heard earlier this week. I was going to meet a man to pick up some pen raise quail and was getting directions to his farm. He said he lives in Cordova. I asked if it was spelled the same as Cordova, Argentina. He said yes but the origin of the name was interesting. There were two old German guys that sold firewood and always gave a generous load of wood to buyers, a bit more than a cord. Locals started calling them the "cordova guys".

Im not sure we need to skip over the fact that you had a suggestion to round up a bunch of Mormons and let em fuck in your barn to heat it
