Caught a Dolly Varden, and them SOB's are hard as hell to hold on to.

Knocked one off of my wife's line trying to pick it up. She was a little bit of pissed off.

After that she caught a bigger one than I did.

My old lady wanted to go on a cruise, so I looked for a place with a drastically different demographic and climate from Vidalia, GA. So we went up to Alaska for 2 weeks this is a protected stream outside of Juneau that I forgot the name of it was about an hour flight to get there. The thing that freaked me out was the bears we ran off when we got there.

AK, I never thought about it that way. Running off to the Bahamas from south Georgia would just be hotter and darker, wouldn't it? My wife holds fish just like yours does. Nice pics. What did you catch them on? Chamois nymphs?

Sorry- I now see it was double beaded something you caught them on. I saw the fish your wife had and didn;t blow it up for a close up. Good show.

That was the first eight hour fly fishing trip where I used the same fly from start from finish. Fish bit the same fly all day long. It's damn nice to fish in a place with as little fishing pressure as there. Normally I loose a fly before the fish quit hitting it, and shake it up that way.

I went in 99 & 03. Fished for 6-7 days and had a blast. I'm ready to go back, but that flight to AK is a bitch.

It was definitely better scenery Merg. That damn guide wouldn’t let me shock up none of them trout though. I’m thinking of making the trip back up to Juneau in September for the duck season opener. The guide said that duck hunting was the reason he stayed up there during the winter.
