Default 2018 Tundra Check Engine Light

So, I have a check engine light. Have it run. P2420.

    I google.

Find out there's a lot of info out there on this one, in as it's a failing common to the model.

Will advise how it goes. Looks like it's an expensive fix and the fix itsnt always fixed....

So, if you have a Tundra, be advised....

Delete the air injection system, it only runs for first 30 seconds when cranking. KRT is well versed with issue. Why replace and spend all that $ for it to break again?

Oh forgot to tell you, keep riding it until it goes into limp mode (1/2 power) if light just came on for it you have a few months to a year till it happens.

Air injection. Its crazy that there is an entire system just used to defect the smog testing. Glad our politicians have not signed on to that one. MG

Probably and electrical issue from wiring in batteries.

    Or too many gun cases.
