we caught 5 (average stockers) last weekend up in western NC, the water was high and swift, not as murky as you would think. nymphs and emergers, draggin the bottom via some splitshots..........peolple are catching fish in NC's delayed harvest streams, stocked and catch & release only.
there are wild trout opportunities to be had, but you got to know where to go!
