    Default That’s a wrap 10/20/22

It looks like I’m shooting does for the rest of the year. I left work alittle early and snuck into one of my favorite wma spots. I set up over a couple fresh scrapes at 5:30 and he was dead at 5:45. I’m guessing he was between 170-180 pounds and was a pain to get out of where I killed him at. Main frame 10 point with a 6 inch kicker off his base with 11 or maybe 12 scoreable points. It’ll be hard to ever top this season.

    Damson!

FWIW, when I am dragging dead shit over a WMA distance I use those jet sleds. To hell with those little wheelie carts in our swamps.

That's a good idea, the mud and cypress knees made a cart useless. I was relieved when I got him to water to float him the last couple hundred yards out.

I had one. Tried to drag out three pigs once on it. After the fiftieth time the cart turned over and dumped the pigs off it Ithrew the cart in the river, poked a hole in the nose of one pig at a time and ran a piece of rope through the hole and drug them out that way. They were all three good eating sows and I didnt want to leave them. Boars...different story.
