I've got a bunch of sets. You would need straps.

I think they are like these.

I’ll throw it out there, I’m in saluda and have almost every way to get up a tree with a saddle. I have three sticks and all three could be used for one sticking. I however have gone to just climbing my rope. No steps to carry. Anyone is welcome to try my stuff out if your looking to take the plunge. I also ditched all of my hardware, I went to all hitches. The only metal I have is my carabiners.

I still do. Sometimes the wind doesnt allow it and I'll stink.

^how in the hell is that "easier" or "more lightweight"?

you saddle people are fucking weird. its a damn deer. they get shot by idiots over corn piles all the time. I dont care how "in shape" you are. If you want to rappel a damn tree like a monkey to think your poo doesnt stink, have at it. its not like you are living some subsistence lifestyle.

A climber is easier and it fits on my back. AND i dont have to take a lot of pics of my "setup" to win admirers.

    there. I said it

I understand in some aspects a climber is warranted. I still own one and use it. I will argue though that using a saddle is not easier than a climber or lighter. I carry 70’ of 8mm rope with me to the stand. That’s it. I do it because I am more comfortable than a climber hands down. But I also respect and understand it’s not the only way to hunt or climb a tree. If I rifle hunted more I wouldn’t be in a saddle.

    Bless. You feel better, Karen?

You want to draw a picture and point to where the bad people hurt you?

And feets post was a joke.

Don't let your cynicism outweigh your sense of humor. I know it's in there and you can do it, lil buddy.

Right? I mean, of all the things that you'd think would get him, I didn't figure that'd be it

See - 2th acts like we don't know who he is.

I stopped looking for other ways to climb a tree once I found the current method I employ. Saddle. 1 stick. Go hunt any tree, anywhere. Bow/Rifle/Atlatl. Done.

He just bitches to bitch - like we don't know.

He'd most likely "trot" or "sashay" his "rig/kit".

I could also see him doing a "canter" or "saunter" style.
