The good news is Turkeys for Tomorrow has really stepped their game up and are doing pretty good things for the population.
That was actually a cool museum
So where does our money actually go?
For extravagant vacations and lavish parties, just like the government.
Well, my money hasn't gone to the NWTF in many, many years. When their original mission of restoring wild turkey populations (which they did) ended, the organization became a cash cow to draw in money for bureaucrats. The whole organization ran it's course years ago. Been a slow death ever since.

I didn’t read the article. So where’s the inventory from the museum going?
Bass Pro in Springfield I believe.
Ew. BPS.
The rationalization I read was foot traffic. Supposedly, the Edgefield location only had 100,000 visitors annually. the BPS world headquarter store reports 1,000,000 visitors a year. Idea is to broaden the exposure of the collection to more interested people.
Officially, the NWTF claims the calls, displays and other items are merely " on longterm loan'" and have not been sold to Johnny Morris Enterprises.
F**K Cancer
Just Damn.
That being said,
I hope that there is a transparent list of all the calls the NWTF was gifted or had donated over the years, so that once the collection is reassembled in Springfield all are put on view. I know some folks who gave NWTF some pretty valuable calls for the museum that have disappeared from the NWTF's possession - never to be seen again.

Whatever money I have left for charity now goes to GOA. Turkey hunting or duck hunting wouldn't be a lot of fun if all you could do is throw rocks.
