    Default Cold front rain

Looking pretty spotty today and tomorrow and worse with the next 10 days looking like the last month. Forecast models showing the only meaningful totals being north of Columbia and South of Spartanburg. We all need it at this point...

Mississippi river is drying up, grain bins are full and not taking farmer's crops because they rely on barges to ship it out. Lots of worry around here right now on what's going to happen if this pattern doesn't change soon. Couple that with diesel prices going back up and things are pretty bleak at the moment. It has been nice to be logging offroad on tracts that have been on the list to cut for years but even loggers are saying it's time for a change.

Wonder if they are actively cutting Bayou Meto and other GTRs...probably still flooded somehow.

    It's all my fault.

I prayed for no rain while I was trying to build a pond dam at the house. God answered.

Since completion, I've been praying for rain so that I can get some grass established for erosion control. God's been laughing ever since.

They are cutting right now. Waited until late in the summer to start and I wasn’t sure how much they would get done this year but with no measurable rain in sight it looks promising now. Of course it has the near-sighted in quite the uproar.

Ceddy typed out what I was going to say almost word for word. It’s past time.
