I'm on the way home from an epic fly fishing trip in Colorado, and I have no visuals to support my story. A nikon d40 bit the dust on a rock Wednesday. Anyway, Colorado trout streams/rivers/ponds/lakes in the mountains are GOING OFF, so if you can get anywhere close, do that, son. With no pics, I can't really brag, but I can give a tip->

Hit the Poudre or the Big Thompson if in the Ft. Collins area, if you're beyond the passes, fish wherever you can pull over. If you fish a pond, tie on a Blue or Purple Damsel imitation. Be safe, and watch out for the rattlesnakes. No f ing kidding whatsoever.

Atta boy! That's what I was looking for!

We are headed out Wed. and were undecided about which general area to hit until I read this. That whole Poudre Canyon area is awesome - granted, just about everywhere in Colorado is.

Call me when you get back.
I don't need my name in the marquee lights....
