    Default Today was magical

To be honest, we almost didn’t go because the wind was blowing good out of the East. Fish chewed the entire time and kids had a blast.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Nice Bobby I fished hard on Saturday and found a school of slot reds about 10am.
Trout didn't cooperate but did manage two, one undersized spike and one about 4.5lbs

Shrimp so thick in the creeks right now, but the winds were blowing my net!

Lotta small spottails gorging on em.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

Caught ours on mullet. I’ll fish mullet before shrimp until I can’t find them anymore.

Awesome stuff man. Can't wait for my daughter to catch her first redfish. She's not strong enough yet to hold a rod and fight one but it'll be here before I know it.

Every time I try live bait in the low country I wind up catching sharks, stingrays, and mostly just getting stuck on oysters if bottom fishing mud minnows. I know it works and I know guys have 50+ redfish days using mud minnows, I'm just doing something wrong.

Live shrimp is probably better. They're still around? I thought they'd be gone by now. We're headed to HHI for a vacation on Saturday so should I take my cast net? I'm able to stand in my kayak and throw the net for shrimp, I've done it many times! It gets interesting but I can pull it off.
