When I’m in the middle of a boat job my workbench can get sloppy depending on the amount of stuff I have to take off but I make it a rule to completely straighten the bench up and blow down the shop after I’m done

Stump- what is the story on those vertical fishing rod holders? Did you make those? Maybe post a close up pic? Thanks

Workbench is a must, when I laid mine out I tried to picture where I would want the stuff I don’t use everyday, and the stuff I did use often would be right over my shoulder. I put in a laundry sink with a little 6 gal water heater. I have a 12x30 lean to that I later enclosed, and closed off the back 10’ so I could use as seasonal storage (wife’s she shed)
I was looking for a before pic of my war eagle! Thanks

They are some type of organizer that I found at lowes in the garage shelving aisle, the rest is just wood I painted and thin wall pvc I cut and drilled holes in

I've always been impressed with Stump's shop whenever he post pictures.

    My shop is a wreck.

Figure how many receptacles you think you need and double it. Even if you don’t currently have a need for them, put several 220 receptacles in. Put plenty of bright lights in. Like previously mentioned, a large sink w/ hot water is nice. If you have enough height, a small loft in the back of the shop is a good place to get coolers, decoys, etc off the floor and out of the way.

Good points, forgot to mention the receptacle, I have 10 and my buddy got me the lights, he called them “high bays” and they will light up the world.

If my shop doesn’t look like Tim’s I’m gonna be mad…

Just imagine shit strung all over the place like a buncha monkeys at the zoo just got flinging poo as a school bus drove by. That's what my garage looks like.

I'd post a pic but I think the picture I just painted with words is more fun.

I'm working on it, though. Which is why stuff is all over the place.

As 2th would say, hope that helps

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

Cheapest and best way I’ve come up with for rod storage
Also put some hose bibs for outside fish cleaning sink and build it at the best height where you don’t have to bend over

Stainless 2 compartment sink and some hot water. Oh, full bathroom. Cause when you get older it’s invaluable.966D9CC1-DDBE-4A54-8933-42484091866E.jpg

I built my shop to put boats in and be able to work on them, not have to step over a bunch of shit to get to it
