I recommend that you look for a lawyer near you online. It is better to find a lawyer who works in the state where is the company registered, because such a lawyer knows all the local laws that may be useful to you.

Yeah I already got the information I needed. The money I missed out on during a companies poor transition from a private to publicly listed company had a few investors looking at legal action. Lack of communication from the company and then an all out sprint for them to get listed without share holders having the ability to publicly trade their shares cost myself and a buddy close to $100,000 between the both of us…… would have been a heck of a profit vs invested money but was told nothing could be done because the company technically did nothing illegal with the transition.
