    Default RP is the shit

    IMG_20220928_203016072.jpg

I'm not a trophy hunter by any means. Deer hunting is something I do because I can't hunt turkeys this time of year. That being said I've paid attention to RPs graphs for the last 3 years to try and go on the best days. Three years in a row now I've shot what are for me, nice deer on those days. 164 pound 9 point this year.

    Thanks RP

You mean RH? As in Rubberhead? I don't want to speculate on what RP stands for.

I don’t know if I’ve seen the charts but I do know bucks have been on the move at least every day from Sunday to today.

You can’t be talking about RP. RP’s oldest son has forgotten more about deer hunting than RP and ducktail know combined with 2th coaching them.

There were several nice ones. Another guy from the club was taking one to the taxidermist

    flockbuster,
That's very nice of you to say (about RP and I)...haha

Seriously, just this one comment make it worth the effort for me. I'm not a trophy hunter either (I've got neighbors on three sides mad at us for shooting 2˝ and 3˝ year old bucks and not slaughtering the does). I shot a 165lb 8-point yesterday myself. My wife's comment was, "we've got two freezers now, get back out there..." She don't care what the neighbor's think...

That makes more sense. And I hope the doves stick around or more show up Saturday. Just got the email that we’re shooting Saturday afternoon, guess I’ll wear hip-boots.

I go by the charts myself.

They should start reading palms on the weekend…. Oh and don’t forget the temp dropped 20 degrees.
