The average joe out there doesn't really think they have 'lost freedoms' over the last couple years.

The average joe doesn't care about our 'position in the world'.

The vast majority of Americans remain unaffected by any changes with law enforcement.

The only thing that the average American may be feeling at this point are some economic pressures. But just look at the discussion on here - the whole 'what recession?' feeling is alive and well in many states.

You're mostly right. My only pushback would be what you meant by "it was the same with the Trump stuff." I think SCDUCKS' has me painted as a lot more of a Trump'ist than can be supported by anything I've said or written about Trump on SCDUCKS or anywhere. But, I understand too, that there's always a disconnect between reality and people's beliefs and this is exaggerated by a factor of 5 when the Internet is involved.

I don't know who will win what during the mid terms. The only thing I know for sure is who I'm voting for. Straight republican. Because the democrats have totally screwed our country up.

I did learn that rich white democrats are the most racist bunch of hypocrites i have ever seen. They only want their votes and nothing else.

Abortion isn't a hot button issue for me. Don't care. About as important to me as global warming or whatever they are calling it now.

I care about the economy and crime.

Gas prices matter more than abortion.

If elections can be trusted, red wave.

    But elections are compromised.

    Agree.

Over here in the Peach state, latest polling shows Republican candidates leading in most of the important contests. Two most important -

Governor's race - Kemp over Orca by 8

Senate - Walker over Warnock by 2. We shall see.

Disagree. When faced with losing freedoms like we have over the past two years, abortion will take a backseat. With our position in the world decimated, abortion will take a backseat. With law enforcement now only focusing on conservatives while liberals have a free-for-all, abortion will take a backseat. With the economy in the crapper, abortion will take a backseat.
Dubs’ comment was spot on with how I would respond to your response. I agree that staunch conservative republicans would put abortion in the back seat. But there are plenty of middle of the road republicans that have it at the fore fron, women in particular. Senator Cash (just one example) has shown to be completely out of touch with society and the troubles people face everyday. Granted I know part of his blindness to the world is because he knows it’s what his constituents want, but during a time when so many democrats are moving here and continuing to vote the same, I think our republican leaders need to be mindful of how their votes could cause some of their middle of the road constituents to support the other party.

Its crazy to think people who want to kill babies and are ok with child mutilation are at the forefront of these democratic tickets. I mean how we got here is insanity.....

I'm in the camp of it really doesn't matter which lever you pull, the winners have already been picked before you showed up.

Anybody got an idea of which country in South America is the most stable? Just curious.

Republicans never really win. They are spineless, corrupt bloviators. America was lost when the courts punted on making states follow their own constitutions and election laws.

Ladybug didn't feel the USSC ruling had jeopardized the midterms enough so he doubled down to sabotage them. He'd much rather operate in the minority, zero pressure.

I’m writing in tooth’s name for every candidacy office going forth. Y’all think he hates people now, just wait till the fake elections happen and his name gets slipped in for something. I almost can’t wait..
