We live in a bad world where some awful things happen. There is a balance between wanting to protect them, and understanding that things can happen that are out of your control. If that were my son, I’d want to kill the attacker and everyone who didn’t help him, but homeschooling also comes with challenges. I certainly don’t think there’s a perfect answer. If there is, and someone finds it, pm me.

Our schools are fooked. Glad my daughter is past school age. Unfortunately, the same violent kids grow to be violent adults. And with a passive judicial system, it will only get worse. Unless of course, you participated in the "insurrection", then you'll be treated like an animal.

We homeschool. It’s tough and hard on my wife. Provide freedom and a great education. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Same here. My wife works so hard taking care of the house and our children. I work hard to provide the income. It isn't without its sacrifices. We don't have as much "fun money" with her not working but we wouldn't have it any other way.
Aside from the dangers of violent kids, the gender agenda is just as concerning.
South Carolina - where you can't hunt public land on Sunday because its "unholy" but a drag queen reading books to children about made up genders in school is just fine.

Same way here. We travel when we want b/c we work remote and our children are learning what we want them to. We are part of a large home school group and as of right now, I can’t see us ever sending them back to public schools.
I take an PLB in the shower with me. Can't ever be too safe.

I'm starting to really consider putting mine in jiu jujitsu for just such incidents that may occur as they get older.
