    Default Acorn Report 2022

Started seeing some water oaks in Clarendon county falling already…seems a bit early? But persimmons sound like they’re early all over the state too according to that thread. Anyone else seeing any hit the ground yet?

Saw white oaks on the ground last week when I was over at my sisters house. I wrote it off as due to wind from the storm from the night before but now I’m questioning that

Seen a few white oak acorns on the ground but much
    smaller than average sized acorns.
Last year was a bumper crop where I hunt. Probably wont be as good this year.

Lots of white oaks. Some are asymmetrical, idk if that’s from having a dry summer but all the ones I’ve seen are good clean acorns.

Live oaks in yard starting to drop. Seems like a pretty heavy crop on the tree.
