I think your sons are setting you up so they get to fish full time. You know, "We can't leave Marina Cap Cana. Too much stuff to 'fix' on the boat."

This has nothing to do with DT's question but to help blackbart reach his page quota... If I had $2 million to burn, I would drop $1 million on a 50ish foot sailing catamaran that my wife, myself and boys could run, then take the other million and sail my arse around the world for a decade... You can fish off the back of it while you are cruising.

I've got a 1542 SeaArk side console pushed by a 25 Johnny, trolling motor, depth finder, live well and two batteries I'll let go right now for $750k.

Plenty of room for 4 to sleep on it. New trailer tires and LED sealed trailer lights.

    PM if interested.

It's okay to violate TP rules for tier one jon boats and humble brag flex.

Are you prepared to steal water and toilet paper from every marina you stop at while blocking the fuel dock?

This thread originated as a flex.

Not really; I already knew what I wanted. Didn't need feedback.

FYI, I think the thread is cool, actually. So shut it up, haters.

So my dilemma is do I seek a fisher that has a classic hull with a nice flare and rebuilt or a new model that I would hope is more "reliable" thus less stress.
