Do you have one? I’ve been looking on Amazon and of course there are a million to look at.
My deep freeze has one built in.
I have one from Amazon. Two little sensors with the receiver in the kitchen plugged in via usb. We can see anything and it alarms at certain temperatures. Over a year and it’s been great.
Try Fisher Scientific.
AMIR refrigerator thermometer here.
Works good. $18 on Amazon.

I plugged a small lamp with led bulb into the same socket in the garage. If the light is off the freezer is too.
When ya'll figure it out cause I need one to. I guess I will be poor to since mine ain't got one built in.

I’ve got several of these and like them: https://www.thermoworks.com/rt801/.
This is what I use in my gun safe and basement to keep track of temperature and humidity. I'll be ordering another for my freezer after this thread just reminded me I need another. It pairs with WiFi and will send you text or email alarms if it gets out of whatever range you set it. Pretty slick set up and peace of mind.

Sensor push is what I use. With the wifi gateway. It monitors temp/humidity. You set parameter’s and it sends alert to phone if something is wrong. Can monitor multiple fridge/freezers if you want.

just make sure it has bluetooth so your phone will know.
and good online reviews.
lastly, I would look at customer service.
hope THIS helps way better than centurian.
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.
I used the model in the link below. It has two remotes so I can monitor both freezers. It is not connected via wifi but does have an audible alarm. I really wanted to know if a freezer had been off and then came back on. It gives high and low, which is nice because I can also ensure the defrost mode is working correctly. Not bad for <$25. MG
