    Default Ruger SFAR

This has kind of caught my attention as a deer killer for the boy(when he gets a little bigger). Anyone else seen this?

    Better yet, Omega 300.

I'd rather suffer the extra recoil than have a deafening muzzle brake.

The only thing I have to complain about with my AR10 is the weight. If Ruger has truly made a .308 that feels like an AR15, it would be a great hunting rifle.

That's what I was thinking. And probably has a proprietary barrel fit.

"Proprietary" is a bad word in my book. The American Rifleman article I read on the Patriot Ordinance Factory AR10 was bragging about proprietary features. One of the best things about any AR platform is the interchangeability of parts.
