I destroyed a flathead trying to turn it. Some drywall too.
Ah. I see now. I hate those flat washers.

Are you sure you're turning it the correct way? I'm not trying to be a smart ass, but when you're laying on your back and looking up something things crossed in yo head.

1/2” dull chisel and 24oz or 32oz ball peen hammer.

Sharp chisel will probably cut them beyond repair.

Basin wrench. Look in the plumbing section where they keep the tools.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Jesus, he’s replacing the hardware. The fact that he hasn’t taken a blade to these makes me think he’s trolling us.

Wedge a flat head up against on of the teeth and tap it loose with a hammer.

I did my sink last year. Same problem with an old corroded one.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

Basin wrench in left hand. Grab your balls with the right to make sure they're still there. If that fails, ask your husband...

Have you tried to put a pair of channel locks, vise grips, etc. here to see if it is some type of adapter over the lock nut?

So your husbands not home? Go next door and ask that guy to come help. Let him now that the Whistledicks that you have already asked were no help.

Is the faucet one piece or two? Meaning are the hot/cold handles connected by the body of the faucet?

Possibly but shock removes things a lot easier than taps.

Shock to a dull chisel vs sharp has gotten a many castle nuts off bearings.

I wouldn’t have asked if I wasn’t trying to save the granite. There is no way to saw these sumbitches off.

Some faucets actually come with a plastic socket that has notches. Figure out what brand you have and go from there. You could try a basin buddy. I doubt you'll get it with a stem wrench. Good luck .
