Pretty slow up this way today.
I went to a pay field in NC this morning. Not many birds, no complaints at all on that, I understand wild animals are gonna do what wild animals are gonna do.
However, the 8 amigos who decided to "hunt" by shooting at every damn tweetie bird and crow that flew within 100 yards, let their 12 year old drive around the field on an ATV all morning, yell "bird!" every time a black bird came into the area, and randomly walk around the entire field (300+ yards away from where they started) the entire morning ... They can suck it.

Shot in Barnwell. Got poured on when we walked in the field about 330. Rain let up around 4, done in an hour. Plenty of birds, just needed more people.

Had a small shower that cooled it off just enough.
I've been checking my inbox for the much anticipated invite since yesterday morning.
A fella would think that 10 years of ass kissing would be worth something.

We shot Botany Bay this evening. Seemed to have a good many birds. I couldn't hit my ass with both hands but the kids had a lot of fun and that's all that mattered to me.
